MathBridge starts
with a question.
A free, student-built mathematics learning project designed to make important ideas easier to explore — one concept at a time.
Math for everyone.
Fresh views.
Built around the idea that understanding matters.
MathBridge started as an independent mathematics website using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The idea is straightforward: a learner should be able to read a clear explanation, try examples, and immediately explore what changes when the numbers change.
Today it includes number theory and probability lessons, interactive labs, and a question bank. It is still a work in progress, with room to improve through careful review and learner feedback.
Ask why.
Try an example.
Find the pattern.
Three simple ideas.
Begin with concepts, assumptions and examples, not memorized answers.
Use interactive mathematics tools to test a conjecture and compare cases.
Practice on your own, see explanations and identify the next question.
A little more than a set of notes.
Spot a mistake? Have an idea?
